Marion Hicks

Marion passed away peacefully on Friday, March 2, 2018, in the Villa St. Joseph, Baden, eight days short of her 101st birthday. Born March 10, 1917, in Fair Oaks, Pa., she was the daughter of Joseph D. Stevens and Anna Trondle Stevens. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert, in 2005; her beloved youngest daughter, Pat, in 2013. She is survived by her daughter, Jan, along with several nieces and nephews. Marion loved to travel, especially to the national parks out west and to Las Vegas. She was always ready to go someplace at a moment's notice. She especially enjoyed going to Colonial Williamsburg, Skyline Drive and long walks on the beach at Nags Head with her husband, Bob. She enjoyed reading and working in the garden. As per Dolly's request, there will be no viewing and interment will be private. Her daughter wishes to thank the staff at the Villa St. Joseph and especially the Fontbonne Staff for their loving and compassionate care. They are truly angels on earth. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Villa St. Joseph Compassionate Care Fund, 1030 State Street, Baden, PA 15005. Arrangements have been entrusted to the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.
