John E. Bock, 58, of Baden, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, peacefully in his home. He was born March 6, 1959, to the late Elmer and Eleanor (Bosic) Bock. John worked as a maintenance/ janitorial worker for more than 25 years for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Baden. He was a member of the parish until his death. John's heart was as big as he was. He was very personable, and treated everyone as his friend. He enjoyed bicycle repair, and he gave many bikes to local kids. He also liked to camp and fish. John is survived by numerous cousins from his 10 deceased aunts and uncles on the Bock side of his family. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, Joseph Bosic of Center Twp.; Dorothy (Bosic) Quesenberry of Conway; MaryAnn (Bosic) Warga of Conway; Stella (Bosic) Bartolovic of East Rochester, and Louise (Bosic) Blinn of Edgewater, Fla., and numerous cousins on the Bosic side of his family. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 25, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Private interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
